We will be using the Envision math 2.0 series in 3rd and 4th grade.
Students are expected to complete Compass Learning (www.thelearningodyssey.com) and IXL (www.ixl.com) activities. Compass Learning is homework every night 2 activity Monday-Thursday. I will check everyday to be sure it is completed. Students need to complete an activity or quiz (at 70%) for it to count as completed.
IXL is 30 minutes per week - Friday to Friday - I will check on Friday. I will be assigning suggested topics to work on in ixl. I will be checking IXL at 7:00 a.m. on Friday so it must be complete by then to count for the week. The students are given time during the day to work on IXL. Some students may have to finish at home. Please check on Thursday night to make sure your child has completed their IXL work.
On Monday I will give the students a Common Core math for today daily skill practice page that is due on Friday. The students are given time in class to complete this during the week or they can finish at home.
There will be a test or quiz on Friday on the material we covered that week.
